Today I felt like my blog has been lacking in fashion shoots
and collections, so I went on the internet scouting for an amazing collection
for my beautiful readers and followers.
I found these on bellanaija.com and I’m just so excited
because this collection really spoke to me in ways I did not expect.
The best way to keep our culture relevant is to share it
with people from other cultures of the world and to teach them our way of life.
I know that most African designers who allow white models to
adorn and model their clothes or accessories, do it just to gain acceptance and
patronage from the white population and all of that.
But at the same time I feel like we are so hung on peoples
possible reasons for doing things (which may or may not be correct) that we
forget what we could learn from the actions they take.
On this note I want to say thank you to www.shellsbelleskidz.com for this
amazing collection and for letting people from other parts of the world embrace
our beautiful, colourful and cultural mode of dressing.
