In this era of smart phones that have inbuilt clocks,
wearing watches could easily be termed “old-fashioned”. But in my opinion, watches are fashion statements
now more than ever.
I remember how back in secondary school we were so obsessed
about the colour of our watches matching our uniform and jewelry. So I decided
to remind us why our love for watches should transcend the time we live in.
1 It does not need
constant charging
Ok in comparison to most of the ‘smart’ phone options we
have these days, watches don’t have to be charged several times a day with
electricity in order to keep their battery running.
2 A nice watch oozes
class
Have you ever watched any of those James Bond movies? Wonder
why he always got a nice watch on? I will tell u why, because it’s CLASSY.
3 Great conversation starters
If you are one that’s open to networking at a public place,
bonding over a safe topic like watches is not a bad idea.
4 Stand out
These days more people prefer to wear ugly bands on their
wrists as opposed to wearing watches, stand out by adorning your wrist with the
right timepiece today.
